Capturing Every Story
Hi there! My name is Jackson Limberg. I started my journey to become a filmmaker just a couple of years ago. Since 2015, however, I have been teaching myself brand new skills, whether that be new camera technology or editing techniques. I strive for originality along with stories that leave a lasting impact on people. Quality is a top priority on every project of mine, whether it be small promotional videos at a parade or a documentary about a talk show.
Over the years, I have been influenced by my peers on how to be a better filmmaker, along with being almost entirely self-taught. I've always been inspired by different films from all different genres. I have a wide range of skills in the types of projects I have worked on as well. If you want to know more about these projects, be sure to check out the "Work" page!
I am always experimenting with new ideas and ways to go about filmmaking as a whole. I love working on a wide variety of projects as it challenges me to step out of my comfort zone. I believe that this mindset is key when working in the film industry.
I love to share stories that come from a wide variety of different areas of life. While narrative storytelling has always been a favorite of mine, I also love getting to tell real-life stories through documentary work. Nothing excites me more than seeing the impact that a film can leave on someone when they feel that connection to it.
When it comes to what I use, I have been using the Sony FX3 as my main camera for almost a year now. This camera has allowed me to create some incredible projects and become more proficient in my filmmaking skills. I also use DaVinci Resolve Studio as my main editing software, but am also proficient in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro!
I hope you enjoy what you see here, and feel free to reach out on the "Contact" page if you'd like to work on a project together!
